Is the uniquely machined coupling which incorporates a standard right hand thread
through half of its length and a contra, or left hand thread in the other half. When mated with the corresponding male counterpart, the joint connection is made by simply turning the coupling. Never again hassle with turning large diameter conduit or spinning an elbow.

Tapered lead-ins on the couplings allow pipe threads to start easily for faster thread engagement. In addition, there is a machined center groove inside the coupling, that when the connection is made correctly, will cause the two male ends to butt together. No gap is created.

Purple color coding is applied to all left hand threaded sections on the male and female of each elbow set and nipple set. The coupling is further marked with parallel grooves machined onto the surface of the left handed section and a directional label is affixed.

As shipped from the factory, each elbow set and nipple set is assembled with the left hand threaded sections engaged. To install, simply back of the coupling completely, align the male threads to be connected and rotate the coupling until fully engaged. The concept is similar to that of a turnbuckle.

Listed under Federal Specification UL-6, SYNDEX products can be used in all locations in accordance with the National Electric Code and local regulations.

No more enlarging a trench or wrestling with heavy conduit to spin large elbow sections. Duct banks are made easy. Conduit entry into an enclosure or fixture using an offset bend is simplified as it is no longer necessary to move the conduit away from the wall to install the device. Overhead work becomes safer as you only need to spin a coupling, not a heavy conduit section. Think back to your most difficult GRC installation. Could SYNDEX products have saved you time ... money ... your back? We bet your answer is Yes!

Key Feature includes: Key Benefit includes:
Left and right threaded nipple sets Eliminates the need for costly unions, three piece and split couplings
Left and right threaded elbow sets No need for tripods or trench enlargement to install a stub-up
Purple color coding on left hand parts Easy identification for simple installation.
Spin only the coupling No longer turn heavy sections of conduit or elbows to install GRC
Tapered lead-in on couplings Allows pipe threads to start easily for faster joint connection
Machined center groove in coupling Allows male conduit ends to butt for enhanced ground return.
No special tools are required System components can be used anywhere, it makes economic sense. Special lengths can be made in the field by cutting off the right hand threaded end to length and machine a new thread with existing tooling.
Listed UL-6 Can be used in hazardous locations eliminating costly unions.
