Can
I buy just a coupling? |
No, because
the left hand threaded section on the coupling must mate with
a left hand threaded male on either the nipple or the elbow for
the system to work.

Why is SYNDEX SYSTEMS offered in sizes 2" diameter through 6"
only? |
The primary
cost for the system is in the coupling. Below 2", there is
little economic benefit to the buyer at this time. We have the
ability to make smaller sizes, especially for OEM inquiries, but
for the future, we will monitor demand.

Do
I need special tools to use SYNDEX products? |
No. SYNDEX
products can be used in any GRC installation without special requirements.
Should you require a special length other than the 6" and
12" standard nipple lengths offered, simply cut of the right
hand thread, size to need and re-apply a standard thread with
existing pipe tooling.

Where
can I buy SYNDEX? |
For the electrical
trade, SYNDEX is sold only through electrical distributors.

Can
SYNDEX products be used in hazardous locations? |
Yes. Listed
under Federal Specification UL-6, SYNDEX can be used in these
areas in accordance with the National Electric Code and local
regulations.

anyone else make this product? |
No. A patent
application is pending and on file with the U. S. Patent Office.

Once
installed I'm going to paint the conduit run. How can I tell if a
SYNDEX product has been used? |
A pair of
grooves running parallel around the coupling are machined into
the left handed end of the coupling. Even if the color coding
is painted over and the label is removed, there remains one final
marking for identification.
